Voices with Brass
Coalburn Silver Band, 2nd Section Scottish Brass Band of the Year 2012 are delighted to announce their latest concert will be held on Saturday
2nd March 2013 in the newly refurbished South Wishaw Parish Church, East Academy Street, Wishaw ML2 8BG
The band has a long history with the church and have been regulars at the annual Remembrance Day service for nearly 30 years. The concert
commences at 7.30p.m. and promises to be a fantastic evening of musical entertainment.
The children of Coalburn Bronze Band and the fabulous vocals of Kirsty Gilmour and Ross McLean, will join the Silver Band on the evening.
Admission is on the door and is priced £5, all proceeds will be shared between the band and the church. The Silver Band will be
playing a wide variety of music including the 1st section test piece ‘Brass Triumphant’ in preparation for their performance at the Scottish Championships on Sunday 10th March in Perth.
