Magaret Nellies Memorial Concert

Coalburn Silver Band, South Lanarkshires last remaining Brass Band are to hold a special memorial concert to celebrate  the life of band stalwart Margaret Nellies who passed away suddenly last  year.

The concert will be held on Saturday 7th May 2011 at the Rigside Hall, doors open at 7pm with the concert commencing at 7.30p.m. The band will be playing a wide selection of music and will be joined on the night by their special guest vocalist Kirsty Gilmour.

Admission is £5 and is payable on the door. All proceeds will be going to the British Heart Foundation. It is hoped   that a large audience will join the band on the evening to celebrate the life of Margaret and support the work of the British Heart Foundation.
