Coalburn's Musical Mudders
Four members of Coalburn Silver Band took part in this year’s Edinburgh Tough Mudder.
The event, held on Saturday 25th August at the iconic Holyrood Park took the bandsmen on a five Kilometre route around Arthur’s Seat. The fantastic four had to overcome a series of obstacles en route including cargo nets, a warped wall and devils beard.
The four musicians completed the course in just under an hour and a half. The band’s principal Euphonium Ian Jamieson commented, ‘What a fantastic time we’ve had getting to grips with this brilliant course, we all managed to complete bringing together teamwork, camaraderie whilst scaling some epic obstacles.’
The band members are pictured in their well earned completion t-shirts left to right, Euan Court, Alan Court, Ian Jamieson and Daniel Beadle.
