Brass at Bargeddie - An Autumn Concert
Coalburn Silver Band is delighted to announce that they will be in concert at Bargeddie Parish Church on Friday 8th September 2017. Doors open at 7pm with the concert commencing at 7.30pm.
South Lanarkshire’s Coalburn Silver Band currently compete in the 1st Section of the Scottish Brass Band Association rankings and have a full diary of concert and contest performances. The band recently returned from Ostend in Belgium where they successfully represented Scotland at the European Brass Band Championships.
The band will be playing a wide selection of music from a number of genres. Their guests, the children of Coalburn Bronze Band and a guest vocalist will join them on the night.
Band President Alan Court commented ‘we are thrilled to be bringing our autumn concert to Bargeddie. A fabulous programme of music and some wonderful guests makes for a memorable night that should appeal to everyone, a fantastic evening’s entertainment is guaranteed.’
Admission is £5 and is payable on the door or by tickets available from the church or any band member. All proceeds will be going to the work of the church and band.
